What Is a Boxy Fit?

A boxy fit is a proportion-led silhouette with a relatively wide body and controlled length, creating a deliberate squared shape. It is not simply a larger size.

Boxy fit can apply across men’s, women’s and unisex T-Shirts, Hoodies, Cuban Shirts and other casual garments. Shoulder width, sleeve length, body width and body length work together. Some boxy garments are slightly cropped; others end at a conventional point but remain wide through the torso.

The key is the width-to-length relationship. If every measurement is enlarged without control, the result is more likely oversized than boxy. A clean boxy silhouette keeps the volume intentional.
